Managing you finances can be difficult at times, that’s why we’re here to help. We won’t reject your application because you have run into difficulty in the past, we’ll work with you to ensure that your monthly financial commitments are met.

Call today and speak to an advisor who will gladly walk you through the application process. Following your successful application, you will receive a welcome pack and letter asking you to pay the account opening fees, if you have not already done so, and to call and activate your account.
Also enclosed within the welcome pack there will be:
Extra Direct - how it works
Paying-in-giros for paying cash into your account. You'll need these to pay any account opening fees due.
Payroll mandate to pass on to your employer. Signing this mandate ensures your wages are paid into your Extra Direct account and we can start helping you control your outgoings.

Once the call to activate your account is made and the account opening fee paid, your Extra Direct Prepaid MasterCard® card(s) and PIN will be sent out in the post. When the card(s) arrive you’ll also need to activate your card(s) either online or by calling a Extra Direct money manager.

It’s now possible to pay into your account at the Post Office. Simply download your personal barcode and print it off. You can then take it to any branch of Post Office and pay in cash over the counter. Cash paid into the Post Office will be credited to your account within 2 working days.
